Nacho Average Nurse Dispute

Shortly before 3:00 AM on May 3, Port St. Lucie police responded to a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance at the couple’s residence. According to the arrest affidavit, Swan’s wife, also a registered nurse, was preparing late-night nachos in the kitchen when Swan criticized her eating habits and commented on her weight. The dispute quickly escalated: detectives allege that Swan lunged at her spouse, forcefully stuffing a scoop of nacho cheese down the back of her leggings. In the course of the altercation, Swan is said to have slammed her wife’s head onto the floor and “hooked” the corners of her mouth with her fingers “like a fish.”

When officers arrived, they noted two yellow smears—consistent with nacho cheese—on a nearby wall. Examination of the victim’s clothing revealed dried cheese along the rear waistband of her leggings, corroborating her account of the assault.
